Continue readingMy name is Eileen Telesky and I started making soap years ago when my daughter was suffering from eczema. I immediately saw the improvement to her skin when she used all-natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals found in the store-bought soaps. While temporarily living in a hotel due to our home being renovated in 2016, I called Scented Seasons needing soap as I was running low on my own handmade soap. I walked into Victoria’s shop and fell in love with all of the smells and products. She told me she was retiring and about to sell the business. One month later I was the new owner of Scented Seasons learning how to make soy candles!
It’s been a whirlwind since then and I am so fortunate to have learned so much and make many new friends! I take pride in making environment-friendly candles. Soy candles burn clean (no toxic fumes nor soot) and support our farmers. Soy candles also burn slower and longer making them the better choice to it’s paraffin wax competitor. You get more bang for your buck when choosing soy!
My plant-based soaps are gentle on the most sensitive skin. I carefully choose which fragrance and essential oils go into them, staying away from pthalates (plastic). Using safer fragrances means the scent will only last a short while – because of that, I make my soaps in small batches making sure you have the very freshest soap. It makes me so happy to hear my customers tell me ‘I’m down to my last bar and need more!’ It really is hard to go back to store-bought soap when you’ve had all-natural! You just feel the difference!
I hope you enjoy my candles and soaps as much as I enjoy making them!
